In May 2006, my husband Joe and I welcome Sophie into our lives. We adopted her from the Montgomery County Shelter and were delighted. Sophie is a beautiful 2 year old Husky with a very expressive face and big blue eyes.

Life was wonderful for all, except Hops, the cat, until about November when Sophie, having regained her health and vitality, decided our backyard was just not big enough for her. She is very socialable.

After several trips to various neighbors house to collect her I called our veterinarian, pleading for help. He in turn introduced us to Paul Dion, the Pet Whisperer.

I explained the situation to Paul and he agreed to meet with us that very Saturday. After just the first visit, the change was remarkable. Sophie went from an uncontrollable package of energy to a well-mannered and vivacious Husky. After a couple of visits, I was able to take Sophie on walks without even a leash as she would walk right beside me, and still does to this day.

Paul’s ability to work with her and us has made all the difference in our lives. We were at the point that we were thinking of finding another home for Sophie, but with Paul’s guidance we are all a happy family again, except Hops, the cat.
