Paul Dion has become a helpful friend to our two golden retrievers and to us, not just a dog sitter.

We met Paul, the Pet Whisperer, when we would visit the Loop 494 Animal Hospital with our two goldens.  At that time, we had Nicki & Sadie, both seniors.

We enjoy all of the staff at Loop 494, and Paul always took a liking to our girls. Or maybe it was the other way around.

We lost Nicki to old age about 2 years ago and when we decided to raise another pup this Christmas, I guess we forgot, after 12 years, what "pup" entailed.

We asked Paul to help get us started with Marley.  In four lessons, she learned to walk without pulling, share her toys, be friends with kids & our senior dog, Sadie, and just be an all-around friend.

Paul also introduced Marley to Doggie Play Date. When she goes to Paul's on an occasional Monday, she thinks it's better than girl scout camp.  Hanging out with at least a dozen other dogs has really calmed her.

We lost Sadie recently, also to old age. Yet we have a young golden that will follow in her big foot steps.

Marley has become the perfect family pet, thanks a whole lot to Paul's caring.
