We met Paul Dion in 2006 after we adopted Oso from the Keeshond Rescue. Oso was 1-1/2 years old when we adopted him, but was afraid of everything. The bouncing of a ball, the gate opening, my kids backpacks, you name it – Oso was afraid of it. He didn’t know how to socialize with the family and I didn’t know how to fix that.

One day I was driving behind a vehicle that read “Pet Whisperer” on the back window. My curiosity got the better of me and I contacted the “Pet Whisperer”. I talked a bit with Paul and asked him come to our house so we could interview him and let him meet Oso. My husband was very skeptical and thought I was crazy, but I insisted we needed help for Oso and the rest of our family. Paul came over the next day and spoke with my husband and I and watched how Oso reacted to everything going on around him. He started explaining to us why Oso was so nervous and scared and assured us he could help Oso. We scheduled a session before Paul left that day.

After just the first visit, the change in Oso was remarkable, and my husband was absolutely amazed. Each visit was just as successful as the previous and one by one the issues got resolved. Our dogs are a big part of our family and Paul’s ability to work with Oso and our family made all the difference in the world. Paul genuinely loves animals; he is trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable and flexible. We had several neighbors who saw how well Paul did with Oso, so they called Paul to come help them with the issues they had with their dogs.

When we go out of town, Paul takes care of Keesh and Oso for us. We know they are being well taken care of and played with while we are gone. We wouldn’t think of using anyone else to help with our training or pet sitting needs. We trust Paul with our children and our home. Paul has become a dear friend to our family and I don’t know what we would do without him. My husband swears that Paul does “talk” to the pets – because they actually obey him.
